Ocean, sea or mermaid themed notebook or “junk journal” with a cloth and ribbon patchwork cover representing the ocean depth and the beach
This is a “junk journal” or notebook that I have made by hand by assembling various blue home-dyed pages. It contains 8 signatures and 97 unique pages.
It also contains many elements such as : a long boho bead and a tassel, 11 dangles with charms, shells and beads, but also various vintage cards, tags, pockets, bookmark, books pages and illustrations on the theme of the sea, etc.
≋ The main theme is the sea, the ocean, mermaids and sea creatures 🙂
Its the perfect wedding gift for divers, marine protection activist and ocean passionates and lovers in general !
It measures approximately: 16 x 4 x 23.5 cm //or// 6 x 1.5 x 9.25 inches
The journal cover has been made by hand sewing together various textiles, cloths, ribbons, yarn, sequins, beads, and sea shells. It depicts the ocean, from the deep sea, represented with darker cloths, to the beach and the sea foam, shown with lighter colours, lace and tulle. The cover has been designed with a flap to protect the charms, seashells and glass beads contained within the junk journal. It closes with a transparent bead and a strong elastic.
