A hand made ocean and mermaid-themed notebook or “junk journal” for sea lovers and writers
This is a “junk journal” or notebook that I have made by hand by assembling various blue home-dyed pages. It contains 8 signatures and 97 unique pages.
It also contains many elements such as : a long boho bead and a tassel, 11 dangles with charms, shells and beads, but also various vintage cards, tags, pockets, bookmark, books pages and illustrations on the theme of the sea, etc.
≋ The main theme is the sea, the ocean, mermaids and sea creatures 🙂
Its the perfect wedding gift for divers, marine protection activist and ocean passionates and lovers in general !
It measures approximately: 16 x 4 x 23.5 cm //or// 6 x 1.5 x 9.25 inches
The journal cover has been made with painted aluminium foil (the tutorial is on my youtube channel) to represent to deep secrets hidden within our seas. The cover was designed with a flap to protect the charms, seashells and glass beads contained within the junk journal. The name GLAZ is a Breton word that means “the colours of the sea”, a name uniquely suited for this gorgeous junk journal 🙂
